Kenya Safari Details:-
Day 1: Nairobi/Samburu national reserve
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel early in the morning; thereafter, drive towards Samburu National Park, arriving on time for lunch. On the way, pass by the coffee and tea plantations, not forgetting the beautiful landscape that part of central Kenya has to offer.
Depending on the weather, the 2nd highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kenya, can be seen. After lunch, relax until 16 hrs; whereby, evening game drives shall follow until 18 hrs. overnight-Samburu Simba lodge or equivalent (FB)
Day 2: Samburu National reserve
Early breakfast, thereafter departs for an early morning game drive until noon, back to the lodge for lunch. Evening game drives shall follow from 16 hrs until 18 hrs.
Samburu Game Reserve lies on the northern side of the equator, thus rare drought-resistant animal species can be spotted. These include the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy zebras, the Gerenuk Giraffe gazelle, and the Beisa Oryx.
Other animals that can be spotted include elephants, lions, and leopards. The reserve boasts to have a large number of bird species, e.g., the rare blue-shanked Somali ostrich, buffalo weavers, and much more. Overnight & Samburu simba lodge or equivalent (FB)
Day 3-Samburu/Meru
After breakfast, depart for Meru National Park, arriving there on time for lunch. Meru was one of the two areas in which conservationists George Adamson and Joy Adamson raised Elsa’s lioness, made famous in the bestselling book and award-winning movie Born Free Elsa.
The Lioness is buried in this park, and part of Joy’s ashes was scattered on her gravesite. Over 300 species of birds have been recorded within the park, including the Peter’s Finfoot, the Pel’s Fishing Owl, kingfishers, rollers, bee-eaters, starlings and weavers birds, the secretary bird, ostriches, and hornbills.
The 870 km2 national park is best known to host a wide range of wild animals, including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, eastern black rhinoceros, southern white rhinoceros, Grévy’s zebras, & hippopotamus. After the evening game drive to the lodge. overnight-Rhino watch camp or equivalent (FB)
Day 4-Meru/Nakuru
Early breakfast, then departs for Nakuru with a game drive en route. On the way, we shall have a stop at the Equator and thereafter proceed to Nyahururu for our picnic lunch break. After lunch, proceed through the Kenya Highlands, which is very famous for coffee and tea plantations. Have a stop at the great rift valley viewpoint and another stopover at one of the Tea plantations, then proceed to Nakuru, overnight-Eagle palace Hotel or equivalent (FB)
Day 5-Nakuru/Bogoria
Early breakfast, thereafter departs for Lake Bogoria, which is a freshwater lake along the Great Rift Valley. The lake supports a large number of birds species, including flamingos. The lake boasts to have one of the best magnificent landscapes, which are crowned by the bubbling hot springs and geysers. After picnic lunch return to Nakuru-overnight-Eagle palace hotel(FB)
Day 6-Nakuru/Naivasha
After breakfast, depart for a game drive with a picnic lunch. The park has prolific birds-life including pelicans, storks, etc., not forgetting other animal species like buffaloes, Rothschild giraffes, white rhinos, black rhinos, plains game, and cats like lions. After picnic lunch, depart for Lake Naivasha with game. Overnight-Fish eagle Inn (FB)
Day 7-Naivasha/Hells gate
Early breakfast then departs for Hells gate national Park; this is one of the parks which can be visited on foot or by bicycle (optional) There are several plains game like the common zebras, impalas, warthogs, and buffaloes. The highlight of this half-day excursion will be visiting the canyon, which is one of the beautiful landscapes the rift valley region has to offer in the afternoon. Relax or (optional) take a boat ride at Lake Naivasha, which supports an enormous birds species. Overnight-Fish eagles Inn (FB)
Day 8-Naivasha/Masai Mara
Early breakfast, have a boat ride at the park thereafter departs for Masai Mara with picnic lunch en route, arriving in Mara in the evening. Overnight-Fisi Camp(FB)
Day 9-Mara
After breakfast proceeds for a full game drive in the Mara. However, whoever (optional) would like to do a balloon safari in Mara, there is an opportunity. A balloon safari combines one and a half hours of flight plus a champagne breakfast and a game drive back to the lodge or camp. For those who wouldn’t prefer balloon safari, I will hook up with the rest for a full-day game drive until 18 hrs.
Masai Mara is the most visited park in Kenya, and this is accredited to the high concentration of animals, not forgetting the spectacular animals’ migration that takes place every year! The reserve also boasts to have an enormous number of birds species. Overnight-Fisi Camp(FB)
Day 10-Mara
Early breakfast followed by a full game drive with picnic lunch: The landscape here is scenic Savannah grassland with rolling hills. Masai Mara is renowned for the black-maned lions, elephants, herds of buffalos, and black rhinos. There is a high concentration of plains game, Gnus, Masai Giraffes, and, by luck, leopards. This full-day game drive will take us to the Mara River, whereby, by the right season and chance, we shall have the opportunity to view the spectacular scenery as Gnus, Zebras, and other plain game across the Mara River. Thereafter, back to the camp or lodge at around 18:00hrs

Day 11.Mara/Nairobi
Early breakfast, followed by a game en route as we drive to Nairobi to catch a flight back home or take an inland flight to the coast of Mombasa for your holiday extension (FB)
Day 12-14 Beach holiday at Diani Sea Resort (AI)
Day 15. Transfer to the airport for a flight back home.
