Tsavo West

The Park is more mountainous and wetter than its counterpart, with swamps, Lake Jipe, and the Mzima Springs. It is known for birdlife and its large mammals e.g. black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, hippo, and the big cats. Other smaller animals can be spotted in the park, such as the bushbaby, hartebeest, lesser kudu, and Masai giraffe.

Amboseli

The park lies at the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro and covers an area of 392km2.

The park ecosystem spreads across the Kenya-Tanzania border and is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species.

Other attraction of the park includes opportunities to meet the Masai people and also offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

Amboseli combined both swampy springs and dry and dusty earth with an endless underground water supply filtered through thousands of feet of volcanic rock from the Kilimanjaro ice cap, which funnels into two clear water springs in the heart of the park.

Tsavo East

Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest parks in Kenya, located Southeast of Kenya. It covers an area of 13,747 km 2 which makes it one of the biggest park

The park holds the biggest number of elephants concentration not forgetting big cats and high numbers of plains game.

Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park.

Early Morning pick at 6:30 Am from your respective hotel then drive to Tsavo East National Park arriving in time for the morning game drive with a chance to Spot Red Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Hippos, Giraffes, Gazelles, Waterbucks, Leopards, Zebras, and different bird species, before checking in at the Lodge as well for Lunch. Relax until 16:00hrs time more game viewing until 18:00hrs. lunch, dinner, and overnight-Tsavo East Sentrim Camp or equivalent

 

Day 2: Tsavo East National Park – Amboseli National Park.

Early morning breakfast then proceeds to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. after lunch, relax until 16:00 hrs then proceed for an evening game drive until 18hrs. This park is the home of Elephants, Wildebeest (Gnu), Buffalos, Gazelles, Lions, Cheetahs, monkey families, and rare bird species. Highlights, In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow-capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Lunch, dinner, and overnight -Kibo safari camp or equivalent.

 

Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park.

Early morning game drives before breakfast, then back for breakfast thereafter depart for Tsavo West National Park. See the volcanic formations (Shetani Lava Flow) on the way to Mzima Springs where Hippos and Crocodiles are seen from the underwater hide; check in at the lodge as well for lunch, relax until 16:00hrs, time to visit the Rhino Sanctuary. Spot Elephants, Giraffes, the varied birdlife of Tsavo West, and of course the Rhinos. Not forgetting the beautiful landscape of Tsavo West. Lunch, dinner, and overnight-Ngulia safari lodge.

 

Day 4: Tsavo West National Park Mombasa.

 After breakfast checkout and then proceed for a game drives en route as we drive to Mombasa, arriving at your hotel late evening(Breakfast & Lunch en route.
