MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE:

The Great Wildebeest Migration is hailed as the Seventh Wonder of the World—a breathtaking natural phenomenon that draws travelers from across the globe. The vast savannah is home to iconic wildlife, including black-manned lions, majestic elephants, immense herds of buffalo, endangered black rhinos, and one of the highest concentrations of plains game anywhere in Africa. You’ll also encounter gnus, graceful Masai giraffes, and, with a bit of luck, the elusive leopard.

A highlight of the experience is a visit to the legendary Mara River. If timed right, we may witness the dramatic river crossing—an unforgettable spectacle as thousands of gnus, zebras, and other plains game brave the crocodile-infested waters in their relentless pursuit of greener pastures.

LAKE NAKURU:

A jewel of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru is renowned for its stunning population of flamingos that paint the shoreline pink. It's also a sanctuary for endangered wildlife, including the rare Rothschild giraffe, both black and white rhinos, and over 450 species of birds—making it a paradise for birdwatchers and nature lovers alike

LAKE NAIVASHA

Known for its scenic beauty and abundant wildlife, Lake Naivasha is a true paradise for nature lovers and birdwatchers. This freshwater lake, nestled in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, is home to over 400 species of birds. Visitors can take a peaceful boat ride across the lake to observe hippos in their natural habitat. AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Nestled at the foot of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. The park’s unique ecosystem stretches across the Kenya-Tanzania border and is renowned as the premier destination for viewing free-ranging elephants up close, along with a rich variety of other wildlife species.

Amboseli offers more than just exceptional game viewing. Visitors have the opportunity to engage with the vibrant Masai culture and enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro—the world’s tallest free-standing mountain. The park’s terrain is a striking contrast of swampy springs and dry, dusty plains, all sustained by an endless underground water supply that filters through thousands of feet of volcanic rock from the mountain above.

Day 1. Nairobi->Samburu reserve

After an early breakfast, depart for a morning game drive in Samburu National Reserve, exploring the magnificent landscapes of northern Kenya in search of its unique and rare wildlife species. The morning game drive will last approximately four hours, offering excellent opportunities to spot the famous Samburu Special Five, as well as elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and other wildlife.Return to the lodge for lunch and relax until approximately 4:00 p.m. Thereafter, proceed for an evening game drive until around 6:00 p.m., enjoying the cooler temperatures and increased wildlife activity before returning to the lodge.Overnight: Samburu Simba Lodge or equivalent (FB)

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve

Day 3-Samburu->Nakuru

After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, with a game drive en route as we leave the Samburu region. We shall make a brief stop at the Equator, where you will have an opportunity to take photographs and experience this remarkable geographical landmark.Continue to Nyahururu for a lunch break. After lunch, proceed through the scenic Kenya Highlands, an area renowned for its lush tea and coffee plantations. Along the way, enjoy a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, offering spectacular panoramic views of the valley below. We shall also make a brief stop at one of the tea plantations before continuing to Nakuru.Arrive in Nakuru in the evening and check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.Overnight: Sarova Lion Hill Lodge (FB)

Day 4-Nakurua->Masai Mara

After breakfast, depart from Lake Nakuru and drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, enjoying the scenic countryside along the way. Arrive in the Mara in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive until approximately 6:00 p.m.Explore the spectacular savannah grasslands of the Maasai Mara, renowned for its abundant wildlife and excellent opportunities to encounter the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino. Keep your camera ready as you explore the reserve and enjoy the incredible diversity of wildlife and scenery.As the day comes to an end, return to the camp for dinner and a relaxing evening.Overnight: Sarova Mara Camp (FB)

Day 5-Maasai Mara

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, exploring its vast savannah plains and searching for the reserve’s abundant wildlife. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and other plains game.For guests interested in experiencing the Mara from a different perspective, an optional hot-air balloon safari is available in the early morning. The experience includes approximately 1½ hours of flight, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush. After the balloon experience, guests rejoin the main group for an en-route game drive and continue with the full-day safari until approximately 6:00 p.m.Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation.Overnight: Sarova Mara Camp (F

Day 6-Maasai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch for another full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Explore the spectacular savannah grasslands, characterized by rolling hills and vast open plains that provide an ideal habitat for a wide variety of wildlife.The Maasai Mara is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including black-maned lions, elephants, large herds of buffaloes, black rhinos, Maasai giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and other plains game. Leopards may also be spotted, although sightings are less predictable and depend on luck.Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve while taking in the breathtaking scenery and wildlife.
