HIGHLIGHTS

Masai Mara is renowned for the black-manned lions, elephants, herds of buffaloes, Black Rhinos, the high concentration of plains game, Gnus, Masai Giraffes, and, by luck, leopards. A visit to the Mara River, whereby, by the right season and chance, we shall have the opportunity to view the spectacular scenery as gnus, zebras, and another plain game cross the Mara River!

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK.

Famous for the flamingos, this is a spectacular sight that you do not want to miss! Over 450 bird species, including about 50 species of mammals can be found in the surrounding forest areas and grassy areas. Here, gazelles, zebras, baboons, warthogs, waterbucks, Rothschild giraffes, and buffalos—not forgetting the white and black rhinos—can also be spotted. 

7 DAYS MASAI MARA | KENYA SAFARI

1. Day-Nairobi->Nakuru

Arrive at the JKIA Airport in the morning, thereafter depart for Nakuru, stopping at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley, then proceed to Nakuru, arriving late evening, overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or equivalent (HB)

2. Day-Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart to Lake Nakuru National Park, whereby we shall proceed for a game drive within the park to view flamingos, other water birds, the big cats, and various species of the plain game with excellent chances of spotting the black and white rhinos. After lunch, proceed for an evening game drive until 17;30 hrs. overnight-Lake Nakuru Lodge or equivalent (FB)

3.Day-Nakuru->Maasai Mara

After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara with a picnic lunch en route. We shall have a picnic lunch in Narok, then proceed to Masai Mara, arriving at the Mara in time for our evening game drive. overnight-Ashnil mara or Equivalent (FB)

4. Day-Maasai Mara Resreve

After breakfast, proceed with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive in Mara. Masai Mara is renowned for its higher animal concentration, not forgetting the famous animal migration that takes place every year. Black-manned lions, elephants, and buffaloes can be seen, though luck is essential for spotting the black rhinos and leopards.
The reserve shares the same ecosystem with the large Serengeti National Park in Tanzania; thus, it’s home to various plains games, including the wildebeest, antelopes, impalas, zebras, and many others. As we are in the Mara, we have the chance to see the gnus as they cross the Mara River. Overnight-Ashnil Mara camp or equivalent (FB)

5.Day-Maasai Mara Reserve

After breakfast, we proceed for another full-day
game drive in the Mara, with picnic Lunch inclusive as we search for the big five.Overnight-Ashnil mara Camp (FB)

6. Day-Maasai Mara->Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru, enjoying scenic views of the Great Rift Valley along the way. Arrive in time for lunch before continuing to Lake Naivasha, where you will embark on a relaxing boat ride across the lake.

Cruise through the tranquil waters while observing hippos, fish eagles, and a variety of waterbirds in their natural habitat. The boat excursion offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the lake’s beautiful scenery and abundant birds-life.Overnight: Naivasha Simba Lodge (FB)

7 .Day-Lake Naivasha->Nairobi

Early morning breakfast, visit Masai village (optional), then depart
for Nairobi JKIA airport and take a flight back home
