Dawn Takeoff & Scenic Flight
Your journey begins before sunrise, with a pre-dawn pickup from your lodge. At the launch site, you'll witness the balloon being inflated—a spectacle in itself. As the sun rises, you'll ascend into the cool morning sky, drifting silently over the vast plains, riverine forests, and rugged escarpments .
Wildlife from Above
From your elevated vantage point, you might spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and even predators like lions and cheetahs. The early morning hours are prime for wildlife activity, and the balloon's silent drift allows for unobtrusive observation .
The Great Migration (Seasonal)
If you visit between July and October, you have the chance to witness the Great Migration. From the balloon, you'll see vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles moving across the plains—a breathtaking sight that underscores the scale of this natural phenomenon .
Champagne Bush Breakfast
After approximately an hour in the air, the flight concludes with a "champagne bush breakfast" in the heart of the Mara. Enjoy a sumptuous meal surrounded by nature—a fitting end to this extraordinary adventure .
