Hot air balloons in the Masai Mara take off around 6 am, before sunrise. You will be picked from your Lodge or Camp by the balloon crew to the takeoff site. Thereafter you will experience the preparations and have a chat with the pilot as he explains the amazing experience ahead of you!

The balloon ride is one of the ways to experience game drives in Kenya, especially in the Masai Mara. Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve is undoubtedly the ultimate ballooning destination. Guests are offered the best aerial view opportunity to see the animals and breathtaking magnificent landscape of the Masai Mara.

The landscape is stunning and from a hot air balloon, you can see for miles and miles. Balloon safari combines around 1hour or more flight and after landing in the middle of the savannah, you will be received by a cook & staff who will have prepared for you the executive continental Champagne breakfast!

During the ride, you will explore the beauty of Masai Mara and by good luck capture the big cats as they hunt. The Masai Mara is the most visited park in Kenya and this is accredited to the high concentration of animals not forgetting the spectacular animals’ migration which takes place every year, thus it’s worthy to have a ride over the Mara once in a lifetime!

Thereafter you will proceed with the morning game drive till noon then back to the lodge or camp for Lunch.
