Hot air balloons in the Masai Mara take off around 6 am, before sunrise. The balloon crew will pick you up from your lodge or camp to the takeoff site. Thereafter, you will experience the preparations and have a chat with the pilot as he explains the amazing experience ahead of you!

The balloon ride is an experience of a lifetime, which will take around 1 hour or so, therefore an en route game drive to the bush breakfast site! Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve is undoubtedly the ultimate ballooning destination.
